Week 8 Reflection

Today our teacher, Ms Chia, proposed an idea of an experiment that shows pollutions of the water in Sinagpore. She proposed that we use brineshrimp and put them into different types of water to prove if the waters are dirty.

Lesson 8 reflection

After we decided the experiment, it was decided that Ms Chia help us to order the shrimps and that we would come back to school during the holidays to do the experiment regarding water pollution.

Lesson 8 Reflection

During this weeks' IPW lesson, we decided not to use the rubbish bag idea. We decided to conduct an experiment about brine shrimp about the water in Singapore

Lesson 7 Reflection

During this lesson, we decided on what we want to make. We wanted to make a dust bin which was fashionable and is able to be carried around. Our group decided that I was to bring the materials to make the product

Lesson 7 Reflection

During lesson 7, we were discussing about the product that we were supposed to make at the end of the IPW project. We decided on a portable mini rubbish bag that we could carry around and dispose of easily.

Lesson 7 reflection

i thought of the idea of using the portable dustbin. I feel its is conventional and useful and it is obvious environment-friendly.I am Calvin lee

Lesson 7 Reflection

We discussed about our product for our topic. We decided that we could make an environmental friendly bag, which everyone can hang on their pants when they travel. If they have rubbish, and there are no rubbish bins around, they can put their rubbish in that bag until they find one.

What have we done so far?

We have researched on the 3 main pollutions and its effects and causes.

What are you planning to do next?

We are planning to start on our product. Namely a podcast and poster.

What have we learnt?

We have learnt that in our modern and sophisticated world, pollution is almost inevitable as the countries' economy wants to succeed and prosper and therefore alot of pollution have taken place. The least that people can do is to cut down on the amount of pollutants released.

Week 4 reflection

I researched on land pollution and found out that most land pollution is caused by humans through mass urbanization. I feel that governments should look into the matter closely so as to decrease land pollution.

Week 4 reflection

I am Lee Cheng Chong from 2I.

This week, i did some research on causes of land pollution and the effects of water pollution. I found out that many of the causes of land pollution were due to inconsiderate people who wanted to cut down on costs. In my opinion, I believe that the government should step down on these people and fine them for what they do.

Week 4 Reflection

I did the research on the effects and causes of environmental pollution. I also help to think of the guiding questions for our topic.

Week 4 reflections

I am Calvin Lee from 2i. I did the research on air pollution and read up on that topic. Our group is currently discussing on the products of our topic pollution and the guiding questions.

Week 3

Title: Environmental Pollution
Project Focus: Effects of Pollutions

GUIDING QUESTIONS

MEMBER 1: How does the different pollutions harm mankind and the Earth?

MEMBER 2: How many types of pollutions are there?

MEMBER 3: How can the pollutions be harmful?

MEMBER 4: How do we prevent pollutions?

RESEARCH
1) land pollution
2) water pollution
3) air pollution
4) living things that are affected severly by the pollution

Our project's research is almost complete and we are planning to do a poster and a podcast as our product(s)
